Nadine Fisher Interview

This month’s featured Professional of the Month is masters prepared registered and licensed dietitian and technology expert Nadine Fisher. Nadine is the owner of Nutrition Networks Web Solutions, providing nutrition and technology consultations. She specializes in website design and development, as well as emerging business technology for health-focused programs.

Nadine is the Chair of the NE Internet and Business Technology sub-specialty of the Nutrition Entrepreneurs Dietetic Practice Group. She is also a writer for a variety of nutrition related publications, such as Ventures Newsletter, the Iowa Dietetic Association Bulletin, and the monthly e-zine Tech Talk. As part of her active role as a Board Member for the NE DPG, Nadine also coordinates and hosts live teleconferences for NE members on various topics related to technology.

Nadine shares many words of wisdom, and her advice to others considering starting their own business is to pick a specialty, do what you’re passionate about, and listen to those who have been there before you for advice.
