Suzanne Girard Eberle, MS, RD owns a private practice in Portland, Oregon called Eat, Drink,Win!® Suzanne’s first career was as an elite runner (4:28 mile/32:40 10K, USA Track & Field 5,000-meter champion and member of three national teams) and she raced around the world. Today, as a sports dietitian and author of Endurance Sports Nutrition-2nd edition (Human Kinetics, 2007), Girard Eberle coaches fitness enthusiasts and competitive athletes, of all ages and abilities, on how to succeed by embracing high-performance eating habits.
A frequent guest speaker and free-lance writer, Girard Eberle counsels individual clients and she works with athletic departments, health clubs and women’s symposiums. She has taught a hospital-based, non-diet approach weight management class for the past eight years. Her passions include treating and preventing eating disorders and empowering girls and women of all shapes and sizes to appreciate their bodies for what they can do, not how they appear.
