Zonya Foco, RD, CHFI and Certified Speaking Professional
This month’s edition of the Professional of the Month interview series features Zonya Foco, RD, CHFI and Certified Speaking Professional. Zonya graduated from Eastern Michigan University and began her career as a clinical nutritionist. As a result of finding an unmet need in her patients at the Michigan Heart and Vascular Institute, she wrote the successful cookbook Lickety-Split Meals for Health Conscious People on the Go in 1998.
In 2005, Zonya began “Zonya’s Health Bites” on public television, which incorporates smart grocery shopping and lively cooking segments with practical exercise, peppered with quick “bites” of healthy information on a variety of topics.
Zonya has a new book out, Water with Lemon, that is a health novel, not only providing entertainment for the reader, but also teaching her eight simple habits for mastering weight loss for life.
